WALTER CHEW
Executive Director / CEO
Walter is a native Johorean who has spent much of his early professional life in Kuala Lumpur. He has been solely responsible, with the help of his extensive network, for building Precept Asia’s pipeline of projects in prime locations in both the Klang Valley and Johor.
Walter attended the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia under scholarship from the Australian Federal Government and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce. He commenced his career in Corporate Finance and Corporate Recovery at PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia and has also served in senior management, as Group Head Corporate Finance, in a large construction group listed on Bursa Malaysia.
Walter has put together the ideal platform on which to grow a property development powerhouse and he proposes to bring his vision together with his deeply-experienced team and eminent advisors to realise his ambition of creating the next success story.
SOPHIAN ABDUL RAHMAN

Director of Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at SGX-listed Cordlife Group Limited and immediate past Executive Director and CEO of Stemlife Berhad.
Prior to switching to the Biotechnology field, he had a distinguished career with the Capitaland real estate group where his primary focus was leading Capitaland Group’s engagement with the investing community across the Middle East and Islamic countries.
Sophian served in a number of entities including Capitaland Financial Ltd, Capitaland Amanah Pte Ltd and GCC Holdings Pte Ltd, and was responsible for managing strategic relationships across the GCC countries including with HNWIs, corporates and Sovereign Wealth Funds. He was responsible for sourcing investment for CapitaLand’s private real estate funds, including the US$215m CapitaLand China Value Housing Fund, and the US$350m Raffles City Bahrain Fund.
Sophian graduated with a Master of Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, London, on the prestigious EDB scholarship from the Singapore government.

Mr Chong brings with him an outstanding 40 year track record in construction management to ensure our projects are delivered with consistency and at a high quality. He has been involved as clerk-of-works at numerous high rise apartment and condominium projects. He has also acted as site agent for some of the most sought-after architects in the region including Bedmar & Shi. Some of the most iconic bungalows in the Klang Valley, including in Kenny Hills, Damansara Heights and Tropicana, were constructed under his supervision.
